Trash pickup reflection

Again we did a trash pickup. We had total of 10 people so we divided into 2 teams. One went to Peninsula and we went to the Old Shekou road. The road right across our school and to the left. It first seemed like the road was very clean. Even the cleaner went by so we thought there wouldn’t be a lot of trash on the road. But our guess was wrong. We had tons of trash. Our categories were plastic, plastic bags, paper, and others. For plastic there were a lot of drink bottles. Papers there were a lot of cigarette and cigarette rappers. The category with the most trash was plastic bags. We had 3 buckets of it. Just random plastic bags but there were so much. One contained some left over food which smelled awful. I think people just mindlessly trash all the left over from their drink and food even though there are trash cans right beside. Considering this I think green police for next year should do activities that allow people about this problem.
